About the project
This five-part series tells the story of #TeamBaker, one couple’s eight-year journey through the heartache of infertility. For six months, Iowa columnist Kyle Munson and photographer Andrea Melendez interviewed members of #TeamBaker, their friends, relatives, physicians and experts on surrogacy, shared meals, and accompanied them on doctors’ visits.
